DAY WISE DETAIL ITINERARY FOR 7N 8D NEPAL PACKAGE TOUR

DAY 1: WELCOME TO KATHMANDU, NEPAL
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu for your 7N 8D Nepal Package Tour. Meet traditional welcome, necessary assistance and transfer to hotel. Welcome drink followed by tour briefing. Rest of the day is free for personal activities. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
DAY 2: KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING AND DRIVE TO NAGARKOT [1 HR 2 MIN (27.8 KM) VIA NAGARKOT ROAD]
This is the 2nd day of your Nepal Tour for 7N and 8D. After Breakfast proceed for the half-day sightseeing tour to Kathmandu valley covering Pashupatinath temple, the holiest and oldest Hindu temple, Boudhanath stupa - one of the biggest stupa of the world and Swoyambhunath stupa - known as monkey temple oldest Buddhist stupa situated on a hillock overlooking Kathmandu valley and eastern Himalayan ranges. Return from the tour & checkout from the hotel and drive for Nagarkot. En-route visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Finally arrive Nagarkot at about 2,100 meter from the sea level and check into the hotel. Enjoy hiking around the villages, view the beautiful Himalayan ranges with green hills and valleys. Overnight in Nagarkot.
DAY 3: DRIVE FROM NAGARKOT TO POKHARA [6 HR 2 MIN (224.7 KM) VIA PRITHVI HWY]
Wake up early Morning to witness beautiful view of Himalaya with sunrise. Complete your breakfast & drive for Pokhara Tour (235KM / 7 hours) observing the scenic views on the national highway along the Trishuli River. Upon arrival at Pokhara, check into the hotel. Evening walk around the tourist area of Lake Side and enjoy the view of western Himalayan ranges with Mt Fishtail. Return to hotel. Overnight stay in Pokhra.
DAY 4: POKHARA SIGHTSEEING TOUR
Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise and Himalayan view from your hotel rooftop. After breakfast, leave for sightseeing tour of Pokhara valley covering :
Fewa Lake - Phewa Lake or Fewa Lake is the major attraction of Pokhara Valley, located in the south of Pokhara city. It is a freshwater lake of area size of area 4.43 sq km. The Annapurna mountain range is only 28 km from the lake, and it's an unforgettable experience to witness the shadow of Mount Annapurna snow peak in the lake water. You can expect a mesmerizing view of mountain Annapurna from the lake during the wintertime when the sky is generally clear. Boating in the Fewa Lake with your family and near & dear ones is an everlasting memory in your life. You can also do a Puja (Worship) of Hindu god Vishnu at the Tal Barahi Temple located at the center of the lake. You can also get the thrilling experience when you put yourself in a big ball and the balls rolling into the water.
Tal Barahi Temple - Tal Barahi Temple is located in the middle of Phewa Lake, in a small island within the lake. The devotees usually visit the temple on Saturday. The temple is for Hindu Goddess Devi Durga. You may request your boatman in Phewa Lake to take you to Tal Barahi Temple, and they will be happy to do that.
Devis Fall - The Devis waterfall starts from Pardi Khola Stream, which eventually vanishes in the underground. After the rainy season, the sound of water plunging over the falls is deafening. According to locals, one Swedish visitor along with his girlfriend named as Devis, who jumped into the sinkhole and drowned away and since then it is called as Devis Waterfall.
Gupteswar Mahadev Cave - Gupteswar Mahadev cave is at the downstream of Devi's waterfall, and the cave is gigantic, you can discover Gupteswar or Shiva Lingam at the end of the cave. You need to go downstairs through several staircases, and you need to climb up while completing the Darshan of Shiva Lingam. Though in this cave, enough lighting is provided, but still better to carry your torchlight.
Peace Pagoda - Pokhara Shanti Stupa or Peace Pagoda is a Buddhist pagoda-style monument located in the Anadu Hills of Pokhra valley and situated around 3600 ft above the sea level. It offers a mesmerizing view of Fewa Lake, Pokhra Valley, and Mount Annapurna Fish Tail peaks. From the car parking place, you need to climb around 250 staircases to reach the stupa level, and once you reach the top, the view from the top will give you an unforgettable experience in your life. From this hilltop, you will get a splendid view of Mt. Annapurna and Phewa Lake during Sunrise and Sunset.
Mountaineering Museum - The Pokhra Mountaineering Museum is must visit place for the tourists who visit Pokhra. It is a unique museum, which tells you all the rich history of Mountaineering activities and climbing in Nepal. The museum is full of artifacts and accessories used in the famous mountaineering and climbing and the history of great climbers like Sir Tenzin Norgay and Mr. Herzog. Overnight in Pokhara.
DAY 5: POKHARA TO CHITWAN TRANSFER [3 HR 42 MIN (149.7 KM) VIA PRITHVI HWY]
After early breakfast drive to Chitawan National Park. On arrival check into the Resort / jungle lodge followed by welcome drink and briefing about the jungle activities. Lunch and proceed for jungle activities. Dinner and overnight will be at jungle lodge /resort. Overnight in Chitwan.
DAY 6: CHITWAN SAFARI ACTIVITIES
This is most exciting day for your Nepal Package 7N/8D. Wake up call with tea / coffee followed by Nature walk and Bird watching tour in Chitwan National Park. After breakfast start jungle safari on Elephant back to see different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, leopard, monkeys, birds and many other smaller animals. After elephant back safari tour in Chitwan National Park proceed for Dugout Canoe Ride along with Dungre / Rapti River to see 2 type of rare species of crocodile; the marsh mugger and the fish eating Gharial. Visit elephant breeding farm & drive back to the lodge. Late afternoon Village walk can be organized nearby Tharu Village. Walk / drive back to the lodge/resort. Evening enjoy "Tharu Tribal Dance" presented by the local Tharu villagers. Dinner & overnight at the jungle resort / lodge. Overnight in Chitwan.
DAY 7: DRIVE FROM CHITWAN TO KATHMANDU [5 HR (175.8 KM) VIA PRITHVI HWY]
Wake up call followed by tea / coffee. Breakfast & drive back to Kathmandu (186 KM/ 5 hours). Arrive Kathmandu and check into hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore your own. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
